Immersed in the extraordinary Chianti landscape, amid gentle hills, endless vineyards and old olive-groves, the Cantina Antinori in the Chianti Classico Region welcomes you with its ultramodern architecture and all the ancient know-how of the Antinori Marquises.
About 45 minutes by car from Florence, this low environmental impact, high energy-saving structure overlooks the surrounding countryside where Sangiovese grapes are grown (together with the other varieties of grape that have historically been placed alongside them).
Here it is possible to experience delights of the senses by immersing yourself in an itinerary that is architectural, gustatory and emotional at the same time, revealing the majesty of the wine cellar and the elegance of Antinori wines.
Various tasting itineraries are available: from the simpler one, for those approaching the world of Marchesi Antinori to the more complete one, which includes a tasting of seven wines and lunch at the “Rinuccio 1180” restaurant, located on the roof of the Cantina.
To complete the visit, it is possible to visit the “Futuro Antico” space, where a part of the family collection is exhibited. The Antinori Family has been dedicated to producing wines for more than six hundred years now, managing the activity with innovative choices, but maintaining an unchanged respect for the traditions and for the territory.
